MILAN IS THIS COMING
THURSDAY, MAY 15, 2008 gates open at 5:30 racing starts promptly at
6:00PM.
MEMBER PRICING: $45 per racing vehicle.
You MUST show a valid FME membership card at the
gate to get the member price.
This price
includes one tech card to race and admission of the driver to the
track.
NON-MEMBER PRICING: $60 per racing
vehicle. This price includes one tech card to race and admission of
the driver to the track.
SPECTATORS: $5 per person spectator
admission fee. 12 and under are free.

I wish everyone well and good luck racing at
Milan on Thursday, I am sad to report that my absence from the event is
required. I am currently out shamelessly selling Super Duty
Harley-Davidson Trucks to the HD faithful at the Myrtle Beach Bike Week
in South Carolina. (here comes the plug of company products) The Ford
Harley-Davidson Alliance is here along with the Ford Experience Team and
man do we have some toys to play with... Bullitt Mustangs, loaded up
Edges with Sync, and of course, a 450 horsepower Supercharged
Harley-Davidson F150! If your anywhere in the area in the next week
stop on by and check out the display!
There will be no club announcements next
week as I will be on the bike or selling trucks (or selling trucks FROM
the bike!). Announcements will return the following week. Milan will
be the clubs activity for May. A general membership meeting will be
called for the month of June. This will be a subject of a separate E
mail upon my return to Dearborn.

FME NIGHT AT MILAN DRAGWAY THURSDAY MAY 15, 2008
Milan adjusted their rental
rates which had a profound impact on our schedule. Pricing is as
follows:
MEMBER PRICING: $45 per
racing vehicle. You MUST show a valid FME
membership card at the gate to get the member price.
This price includes one
tech card to race and admission of the driver to the track.
NON-MEMBER PRICING: $60 per
racing vehicle. This price includes one tech card to race and
admission of the driver to the track.
SPECTATORS: $5 per person
spectator admission fee. 12 and under are free.
HOURS will remain the
same - gates at 5:30, racing
at 6:00PM.
This is the only
Milan date currently scheduled for 2008. With the new pricing
structure, to keep it affordable for our members, the club, with
agreement of the Board has decided to subsidize the members at large
for this event. This will be a significant expense to the club.
Because of this, we are unable to offer member pricing to our sister
clubs as we have done in the past. Again, if you do not have a
valid FME membership card at the gate, we cannot give you the $45
price to race. Once the event is over and we determine how much
this event costs the club, we will schedule additional race nights,
or cancel the season as needed.
WE NEED YOUR
HELP: We are currently looking
for ideas to offset the cost of the race nights to continue to
provide you with a summer full of racing. If anyone has any ideas -

believed its hard to hit a moving target... so for those keeping track I
have moved again - I am now located at 1F-J08 within PDC and the mail

morning everyone - it has been a few weeks since I've been able to mail
everyone and let you know the club is still kicking. I do apologize. I
have a few announcements for today, and hope to get back to a regular

FOR FME NIGHTS AT MILAN DRAGWAY FIRM UP
Jeff, the board and I are working to schedule the Milan dates for 2008
and we need your input. Specifically, what do you like and dislike
about the event? We would like to do some world class racing
and your comments will make for the best season ever. Please respond to

Willys-Overland plant right here in Detroit's Cass corridor may be

an enduro race scheduled - SO on the 4TH Thursday of the month we will
again take to the karts and race. Doors open at 6:30, racing starts at
7PM sharp. Cost is $45 for the usual Grand Prix Format. Please RSVP
your attendance to

Apex just yet, so this is still at the same location on Van Dyke.
