We have the place, some tools, materials, and
are ready to begin scheduling
"Work Bees" near exit #124 off I-94 Weeknights and Weekends, as of the
March
16th FME Tech Team Project #4 Kick Off Planning Committee Meeting at the
Grand Prix of America in Westland, at the NE Corner of Wayne & Warren, at
5pm.
This is a list of the basic major parts the owner has already collected
and
has stored. We have been given some leeway in deciding what he should and
should not keep, use, replace from this list, and he is open to meaningful
suggestions and will work with the team, as well as the club in swapping
out
and changing up for this project completion and our use of it for a two
year
period from one dream cruise to the next, and all major events in-between.

Our challenge is to:
1. Review the list of component parts and decide which to keep, which to
swap out.
2. Review the list of owner parts yet to be provided, and determine if we
need to convince him to change any, or what exactly to get yet.
3. Create a list of supplies and tools that will be needed to complete
each
phase of the "build".
4. Generate a proposed schedule to work with, and from, and coordinate it
with the garage owner.
5. Collect the right "special" Volunteers for each phase necessary.
6. yada, yada, yada.....So, if you want to show off your stuff, earn logo
space on the vehicle, find sponsorship for extra parts or services we need
to make it complete, are willing to wrench on the project, or want to come
along for the mentoring/learning experience, send in your resume and
specialties list to:

You getting the idea here? Think "The Apprentice" and you be "The
Donald".
Whatever you do, let's make this FUN and FMEnthusiastic, ok? This is to
be
our PR vehicle, to represent the club, and if we get a "Ford World", "Hot
Rod" and/or "Car Craft" article out of it, so be it! We will need to
document what we do, take pictures along the way, write an article for the
Newsletter, and do updates on the Website, maybe even video clips of the
workbees!
Now do you see it all coming together? Do you want to take an active roll
in this Tech Team Project? Do you really want to show the club what you
are
capable of doing? Now is the time, and this may be the vehicle to do it
with!
